Terms of Use
Last updated: 29 September 2026
1. About these Terms
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of this website, operated by Altium, a commercial brand used in connection with private investment activities (Altium, “we”, “our” or “us”).
By accessing or using the website, or by submitting an enquiry after being presented with these Terms, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or submit information through it.
2. Professional use and authority
The website is intended for professional and business users. By using it on behalf of an organisation you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, that you are authorised to act for that organisation, and that the organisation agrees to these Terms.
3. Website terms only
These Terms govern use of the website only. Any investment or business relationship is governed exclusively by the separate documentation of the legal entity concerned, which is identified in that documentation. If there is any conflict between these Terms and a signed agreement, the signed agreement prevails in relation to its subject matter.
4. Purpose of the website
The website provides general information about Altium. Website content:
- is provided for general information only;
- does not constitute an offer, invitation, recommendation or solicitation to subscribe for or acquire any shares, units or other interests;
- does not constitute investment, legal, tax or accounting advice;
- does not guarantee availability, terms, timing or outcome; and
- should not be relied on as a substitute for the applicable documentation or professional advice.
Images are illustrative and do not necessarily depict a specific location, asset or arrangement.
5. No offer or binding commitment
Descriptions of activities, areas of participation, processes and capabilities are indicative only. Submitting an enquiry, receiving an acknowledgement or exchanging preliminary communications does not create a contract, reserve any capacity, establish terms, create exclusivity, or create an agency, partnership, joint venture or fiduciary relationship. A binding relationship arises only when the relevant parties sign a separate written agreement and any required eligibility and acceptance procedures have been completed.
6. Enquiries and information you submit
When submitting an enquiry you confirm that the information provided is accurate and not misleading, that you are authorised to provide it, that it does not infringe third-party rights and that it does not relate to unlawful activity.
You must not submit payment card information, bank credentials, passwords, identity documents, special-category personal data, information protected by third-party confidentiality obligations without authorisation, or unlawful, defamatory or malicious content.
Unless separately agreed in writing, submitting information through the website does not create a duty of confidentiality beyond what applicable law imposes. Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Notice. We may decline, suspend or discontinue any enquiry at our discretion.
7. Compliance
You must not use the website in connection with sanctioned persons, entities or territories, with transactions designed to evade sanctions, tax, licensing or regulatory requirements, or with any unlawful activity. We may request supporting documentation and may decline any enquiry for legal, compliance, reputational or operational reasons.
8. Acceptable use
You must not use the website for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it or to connected systems, interfere with its security or operation, introduce malicious code, scrape or extract data by automated means without written permission, impersonate another person or organisation, submit false information, or use website content in a way that infringes intellectual property or other rights. We may restrict or block access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
9. Intellectual property
The website and its content, including text, graphics, logos, design, layout, images and software, are owned by us or used under licence and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may view, download or print pages solely for internal business evaluation. Without our prior written permission you may not reproduce or republish substantial content, create derivative works, use content for commercial exploitation, remove proprietary notices, use our name, trademarks or logos, or frame, mirror or systematically extract the website.
10. Third-party websites
The website may link to or rely on services operated by third parties. We do not control and are not responsible for their content, availability, security or privacy practices, and a link does not constitute endorsement.
11. Availability and accuracy
We may update, change, suspend or withdraw any part of the website without notice. Although we seek to keep information reasonably accurate, we do not guarantee that the website will always be available, that access will be uninterrupted or error-free, that information will be complete or current, or that the website will be free from harmful components.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, and we disclaim all warranties and representations, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy and availability.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our directors, officers, employees, contractors and representatives will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, loss of profit, revenue, anticipated savings, goodwill or business opportunity, loss or corruption of data, business interruption, reliance on website content, inability to access the website, or acts or omissions of third-party websites or service providers.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for direct loss arising solely from use of the website will not exceed EUR 100. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability to the extent it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Liability in relation to any matter governed by a separate agreement is determined by that agreement.
14. Indemnity
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us and our directors, officers, employees and representatives against claims, losses, liabilities and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful or unauthorised use of the website, your breach of these Terms, information submitted by you, your infringement of third-party rights, or a materially inaccurate statement made in connection with an enquiry. This does not apply to the extent a claim results directly from our own unlawful conduct.
15. Privacy and cookies
Our Privacy Notice explains how we process personal information, and our Cookie Policy explains how cookies and similar technologies are used. Those documents describe our practices and do not form contractual service terms.
16. Suspension and changes
We may suspend, restrict or terminate access to the website where these Terms have been breached, where required by law, or for operational or security reasons. We may amend these Terms; the version published on the website at the time of your use applies.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising from them are governed by the laws of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. The courts of Luxembourg City have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
